When the Chevy Bolt and Bolt EUV made their debut in 2016, it was believed that the electric vehicles were ahead of the curve and poised to become easy sellers, thanks to their affordable price tag and impressive range.

However, the Bolt didn’t stand a chance next to its electrified competitors, specifically the Tesla Model 3, and was discontinued in 2023.

Now, after only two years, the new Chevy Bolt EV is making a comeback, but will it be better than we remember?

Here’s what we know about the most anticipated automotive comeback in years!

Hey Google, What’s Inside the 2027 Chevy Bolt For Sale?

The Bolt’s interior delivers impeccable craftsmanship and future-forward tech, keeping you comfortable on every drive. Enjoy having the most essential information about your vehicle front and center on the 11-inch diagonal driver information center. At the same time, your on-the-road entertainment is readily available on the 11.3-inch digital touchscreen.

The 2027 Bolt comes equipped with a variety of entertainment apps, including Angry Birds, Chrome, GameSnacks, HBO Max, Tubi, Prime Video, and more, providing you with the full power of streaming, gaming, or browsing the internet directly from your dashboard.

In the age of technology, saying something as simple as “Hey Google” can open up a world of possibilities–and one that is now available in the driver’s seat.

With “Hey Google” voice assistance, you can easily adjust the cabin temperature, seat warmers, and even open your garage as you’re coming home– all without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

A Bold Look For the Comeback Kid

A few years off the market means that the automotive world expects something bolder and better than before — and the 2027 Bolt EV plans to deliver.

The new front and rear fascia are only enhanced by its new lights, poised to deliver style at every mile. Paired with 17-inch aluminum wheels and gloss black exterior mirrors, every detail matters on the outside of this electric ride.

However, a redesign is more than just the small details – you need to look at the big picture.

And in the Bolt’s case, the big picture comes in bright hues of orange, yellow, and blue.

Four new exterior colors have been added to the lineup for the 2027 Chevy Bolt, including Habanero Orange, Relic Green Metallic, Atomic Yellow, and Marina Blue Metallic. However, if you prefer a more subdued look, you can still opt for the Summit White, Mosaic Black Metallic, or Sterling Gray Metallic exterior colors.

Going the Distance: The New Chevy Bolt EV Range and Charging Power

Confidence, flexibility, and convenience are pillars when it comes to the performance of the Chevy Bolt EV. As the first vehicle to offer a NACS charging port, the Bolt will allow drivers more opportunities for public charging. The NACS also provides the enjoyment of DC Fast charging up to 150 kW — more than twice as fast as the previous Bolt could deliver.

With fast charging capabilities and more opportunities for charging outside the home, how far can you actually go in the new Bolt?

The Chevy Bolt’s range is estimated to be up to 255 miles, meaning more time for adventure and less time spent at the charging port.

How Much Will the 2027 Chevy Bolt Cost?

The new Chevy Bolt EV for sale will be available in two trim levels: the LT and RS. The Chevy Bolt MSRP for the LT model will start at $28,595, while the RS model will start around $31,600.
